Hello all my friends.. it has been a long time since I posted. Alot hasn't happened.. My life is pretty boring. I am still working at Massage Envy I work Tuesday - Friday from 9:30am to 3:30pm and every other Saturday. I still love my job! I love what I do!

Some of my highlights over the past 5 months have been

1. The SSR Car Show in Laughlin NV

~ I saw lots of very cool SSR's but of course the best was mom and dads

2. NASCAR in Vegas. Lots of fun stuff this year

~I was able to be really really close to my 2 favorite drivers Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch

~I love Kenny Wallace! He was a hoot!

~ I was pretty happy.. Kyle Busch won the race! he kissed the start/finish line when he won!

#3 I have been to 3 concerts in the past 2 months.. I was able to see

~ The Bellamy Brothers My friend JJ called me the day before the concert and asked if I wanted to go.. He had some extra tickets. I went with my good friend Chelsey Eaton. We had alot of fun.

~ The Nashville Tribute Band and Due West/ This was the 2nd time I have seen Due West I love them. I can't wait till I get to hear their stuff on my XM radio!

~ Jullianne Hough / for Jodies birthday in January I gave her tickets to the concert. It was so fun to see her. I love that she sang with no shoes on... well she took off her high heels part way through! This was an amazing concert. Her opening acts were The Travis Marshal band and Eric Dodge. Not to bad!

I can't promise I will be better at this but I will try!

Well last night Jodie and I went up to her sisters house in Parawon last night to help her get ready for some job interviews today. We were on our way home and it was about 10:30pm and just about to the Leeds exit when we went under an overpass and all the sudden there was something right in front of the car. Jodie swerved to miss it and over corrected and we started fishtailing and all of the sudden the car just flipped. I am thinking we went over twice but I can't be certain about that. We might even have gone end over end once too. There were the nicest people behind us that stopped and waited for the cops and medics to arrive and then they waited some more for us to fill out paper work and they were kind enough to bring us back home.

As far as injuries I have a blood blister on my right big toe and my toe is really tender. My right thumb kind of hurts to. I have some bruises still trying to form the seat belt that I am sure will be very sexy! Jodie is also doing good. Her knees are a little sore and has some bruises from the seat belt.

All - in -all we are very blessed to have walked away. It could have been 1000 times worse. We are very grateful for the people that stopped to help.

I will guaranty you will never catch me without a seat belt EVER!

I have had a pretty eventful couple of months.

Well on September 13th I went to the Honkytonk Tailgate Party Concert at the Dixie Sunbowl. I went with LaRae. There were 4 artists that performed, Ray Scott, Trent Wilman, Buddy Jewel, and Mark Wills. I had alot of fun. After the concert I was able to meet all of them and get my shirt signed by all of them.

Then in at the end of September mom and a few of her crazy friends came to town and we went to tuacahn. We had alot of fun. Also my friend Amanda Alder from Preston went with us to. I sure she will think twice before she goes anywhere with me again.

Then just this past weekend on the 18th mom and I were suppose to go to the Blake Shelton Miranda Lambert concert but plans feel through so I got a hold of a friend and her and I went to the concert in Primm. The concert started at 9 our time so we left at around 5ish we drove downtown Vegas and ate at my favorite restaurant Toby Keith's I Love This Bar And Grill! Where I once again got my fried mac and cheese and my fried Twinkies! Yumm yumm.. So then we drove on to Primm and we had a blast. I was very good. I ended up getting home at 2am and yes I was a good girl and was at church at 9am. I may not have been awake but I was there with bells on my toes!

2 month update!! SORRY!

Well... well.. where do I start.

I finally started second job. It only look me a month and a half to find one. The job market sucks!! But I guess you always go back to what you are comfortable with. I am back in a grocery store! I work at Albertsons in the Service Deli and Butcher Block. I would like to be just in the Butcher Block or the Pharmacy but I guess I will take what I can get.

In August I had the chance to go see Jennie and her family in Magna for 5 days. I had alot of fun. I was able to see my friend Brandon while I was in town. I haven't seen him in over 2 years. So it was very nice to be able to visit with him. While I was there I was able to go to the Copper Mine. It was alot of fun.

Also a couple of weeks ago I got off work at Massage Envy and went out to go home and my car wouldn't go into drive! It was stuck. After making 3 phone calls to my local dealer and 1 to the dealer in Arizona.. (Arizona was more help) I was able to get everything set up for a tow truck and stuff. This is my baby on the tow truck. I was very sad to have to have her towed.

The day after I got my car back I was headed to the gym and I tried to turn the heated seats on for my back and yeah guess what.. they forgot to plug them back in when they were fixing it the day before. So yes my baby had to go back again to get fixed a 2nd time. I wasn't happy.

And lastnight I had a friend come over and instal a ceiling fan in my bedroom. In a couple of weeks I he will be back to put one in Jodie's room.

4th of July Weekend!

Well, my weekend started off kind of crappy.. on Thursday I was forced to quit at the hotel. Yep that's right I don't have a job right now.. Well I have a job massaging 3 days a week 3 hours a day. That is real promising. So I decide I would start my holiday sooner. I was planning on going to Delta with Jodie and go to a demolition derby. But since I had an extra day I figured I would just go to Preston a couple days early.

I didn't quit make it to Preston that night. I decide to stop in Richmond Utah and see Amber and Ray. I ended up staying at their house. I got up Friday morning and met mom and dad on the highway and we drove to North Ogden where Amy's kids were in a bike parade. They were the cutest ones there.

After the parade we went home and did some yard work and had a cookout.

On Saturday we went to Logan to the Cruise In. It is an annual car show that happens 4th of July weekend. They had some really cool entries this year. Well I have never been but I though there were some really cool stuff.

I was excited to get my picture taken by Big Foot the monster truck.

They also had Jimmy Johnson's car there. And a Hendricks car hauler

Then Saturday night after some more yard work Amy brought her family to Preston and we had dutch oven potatoes and ribs. It was way yummy.

Sunday was just a good ol day. After church I took a nap and that was the excitement of the day.

Monday was a stressful day. It was the day I was suppose to head home. The main reason of me going to Preston was to register my car. But I ended up spending to much time at the DMV trying to get everything straightened out. I guess Arizona is a paperless state so they never sent the title for my car to them. So after spending an hour on the phone with Chrysler with a guy who didn't speak English. I still didn't get my car registered. All though I did talk them into doing my VIN check while I was there. I will have to have my mom go in, in 3 weeks and get the papers. Its a big pain in the butt.

So after that I decided I would just stay in town 1 more night. So mom and I decided we would go to Logan to dinner and a movie. It was way fun. We also when with moms best friend Sue. She is a hoot. I love her. We went to the Pizza house for ham and cheese salads and then we went to Wall-e. It was kind of weird.

All in all I had a fun time. I love my family and I love spending time with them.

Almost a month ago I went in and had my injections on my right side SI joint and you would not believe the difference. I still am pretty sore on the left side and in the L5-S1 area. But I go in today at 3:45 to have my left side injection done.

Most people think I am weird for being excited to go to the Dr. But you have no idea how excited I am and I possible could be pain free. So wish me luck. I have decide this time I will have sedation today (since last time I cried the entire way through.) And thanks to LaRae I will make it there and home safe and sound. She will be taking time out of her busy day to be my escort.

As I said in my last entry I was getting ready to go to Tuacahn. And let me tell you it was amazing

On Tuesday night Jodie and I went and saw Les Miserables. I had a small idea what this was about. I had talked to a few friends that had seen the movie or read the book and they said it was very good. So I was very excited to go. Oh my goodness. It was sooo good. It almost brought me to tears. I want to go back again to see it. I hope that I can finds someone who would like to go. If anyone wants to come and go. I will go with you.

On Wednesday night we went to The Sound of Music. (which is one of my favorite movies) I was also excited to go see this. I had heard from some guest that have stayed at the hotel that both shows were amazing and that the lead guy in Les Mis and the Father (the captin) is the same person. And just did an outstanding job. And they were right. His name is Tim Warmen He is playing in the upcoming movie with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet called Revolutionary Road. So it makes me excited to go see that now, because he did such a good job.

If anyone else has gone let me know what you thought or if anyone wants to go let me know. I will go again.

Baseball

Last year Jodie and I went to alot the St. Georges Road Runner AA Baseball games. It was a blast so when we came across tickets to this season we jumped at the chance. The Road Runners have started there 2nd season and are about 12 games or so into the season. The day I had my back procedure done Jodie and I deciede we would try to make it to the game if I was feeling up to you . And so we went and had a blast. As always at a baseball game you gotta have a hotdog. And man was it good. This mascot Saturn (I think that was his name) were funny. He stayed in your section most of the night and he was funny. He carted around this sign all night and it was cute to see him with all the little kids.

I am off to tuacahn tonight and tomorrow night to see. Les Miserables and The Sound of Music. I will let ya know how it goes!

Sorry so short. Not much going on in my life right now other than work and sleeping. Trying to earn money to pay for the new car. I will take donations if anyone feels they would like to help out :)

I would like to introduce everyone to my new baby Ella!

Ella is a 2008 Dodge Avenger with a 2.7 l / V6 Engine. She has two-toned leather seats, a sun-roof, automatic engine start with just a push of a button, and one of my most favorite part about Ella is her in dash refrigerator

I had been looking here in St. George for the last 2 weeks for a new car and everyone I went to didn't seem to want to work with me so... I was just going to give up and keep my ford focus and just pay it off then look for something then. But mom was staying at Suzanne's house in Dewey Arizona just out side of Prescott Arizona. I was there for just a little over 24 hours. I took my mom to their local Dodge Dealer just to show her what they looked like and wow.. I ended up coming home with a new car. I absolutely love my new car. I think it fits me very well. If I can't have a truck This is perfect.

Just let me know if you would like to go for a ride in Ella and I would love to take ya!

Long time no blog! Sorry - Big update!

I know it has been along time since I have updated everyone! I will try to do this fast and as painless as possible

I had a blast at NASCAR in Las Vegas! I met a guy (Frank) last year just after the race in 2007 and he drives Jimmie Johnson's Trophy/Meet n' greet truck and I drove him from my hotel to the port of entry to get his truck. He told me to find him in Vegas this year and he would get me in to meet Jimmie. So I was able to find him and he stayed true to his word and my family and I were all able to meet Jimmie. It was awesome.

Jennie my sister and I were able to meet Kyle Busch while we were there as well. We did a charity walk with him. It was for his local charity their in Las Vegas. This is a picture of turn 1 of the track. It is amazing how cars can go so fast on that high of banking. It was a very cool experience to be able to walk all the way around the track.

All in all NASCAR was amazing as always. We just bought our tickets for next March last week.

In march I drove down with dad to San Diego to go pick up mom who was visiting Justine and Suzanne for a week. While we were there we drove out to Coronado Island and played in the ocean. We also did a lot of shopping too. On the way home, we met Kip and Monique for Lunch at Joe's Crab Shack in some little town. I always love to see Kip and Monique. I miss them a lot.

LaRae, one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my entire life invited Jodie and I to go to the Craig Morgan / Due West Concert. Which was the most amazing concert I have ever seen. I have absolutely fallen in love with Due West. They are a trio from around the western US. I fell in love with their music from listening to it on KONY radio here and then I got my hands on a CD and it was all down hill from there. They are very talented. And it was amazing because after their performance they had a meet and greet so I was able meet them and Jodie and I got our picture taken with them. Of course Craig Morgan is amazing too!

And my most recent update is; yesterday I went in for another back procedure. I had steroids injected into my Sacral Iliac Joint. And let me tell you it hurt really bad. I did it without being sedated. I will not do that again!!!

As of now it is just a little tender and hopefully it will get better. I have to go back in to see the Doc in 2 weeks I will let you know more then.

If you can't tell by my background on my blog. I am a complete NASCAR Junkie. I pretty much eat, sleep and breath NASCAR and of course Jeff Gordon. Every year as a family we get together in Las Vegas for the Vegas race. Cory comes from Idaho Falls, mom and dad are usually either in Preston or Jackson, Jennie and Rene come from Magna and Kip and Monique come from L.A. And of course I have the longest drive out of anyone.. I get the 2 hour drive... heehee

We usually get there on Thursday afternoon and park the motorhome . We get to park about 15o yards away from the track. Of course mom and dad stay in the motorhome and the rest of us get a hotel and this time we are staying at the Sahara. We decide to stay there because it is the NASCAR hotel. It was a little more but this year we wanted the entire experience.

We get up really early each morning and head to the track to avoid all the traffic. We spend all day Friday and Saturday at the motorhome. I am not really sure why but this year I am extra excited to spend some time with the fam and to just get away.

I have 2 main drivers that I will be cheering for my first of course is Jeff Gordon. My second one is my roommate Jodie's favorite driver.. which I am sad to say she isn't going with me to the race. But I will make sure to take alot of pictures for her. But that Driver is Carl Edwards and for those of you who don't know who he is. He is the driver that does the back flips when he wins. How awesome would it be to see him do a back flip.. my 2nd drive is my dad and my brothers most hated driver. And I believe that may be the reason I like him so much but he is Kyle Busch.

For thoes of you who are going to the race to. I hope to see you there and I know we will have a blast and for thoes who arn't going well.. it sucks to be you!!! :)

There is a long story behind this resturaunt. Back in December we went to Vegas and tried to call information to find it and nobody could find it, so when mom and dad found out where it was~~~ they just had to take me there.

It was so very yummy... I think it is my new favorite place to eat. They have a Fried Macaroni and Cheese which is to die for!!! And my new most favorite food in the entire world is FRIED TWINKIES!!!!!

Big Loser 2008 (Lets Try this again)

So as I stated in my first blog. Last year I was in a big loser competition and I lost 40lbs. When I found out in June or July what my problems were with my back. My doctor told me I couldn't go back to they gym for a while...so I guess you know what that means. I gained some back. So 3 weeks ago my roommate Jodie and I decided we wanted to try to lose some weight. I started going back to the gym and I have a new personal trainer and he is awesome. He will kick my but into shape. Jodie also joined a Big Loser competition at the hospital so I am just doing it with her so she has support at work and at home. I have taken some before pictures and every now and then I will give updates and post some new pictures. So keep checking back and I will keep ya updated.

My first blog... a catch up of last years events!

2007 was an amazing year for me. I became a licensed Massage Therapist; I went to many concerts, met many new amazing friends made some major life changes... I will try to do this fast so it is painless.

I started the year out great by becoming a contestant on The Planet 94.3's Big Loser competition. It lasted for 3 months and I lost 40lbs. Not to shabby huh… I met some of the most amazing people in the competition. I have become really close to Chris and LaRae from the radio station and also with Melanie (she won the competition) and Trudy. I love them all so much. I even got kind of close the guys. We all worked really hard together.

In March I went to my 3rd NASCAR race in Vegas. And for the 3rd year in a row Jimmy Johnson won. We always have an amazing time when we go to the race. I also got to see Randy Travis in concert in March. LaRae took me to help here with her radio remote and I got to meet him. That was definitely one of the highlights of my year because some of you may not know but Randy Travis has been one of my absolute favorites since I was knee-high to a grasshopper.

In April I took mom and dad for their mothers day and fathers day presents to Trace Adkins in Mesquite. We had a blast. I also drove to Avondale (Phoenix) AZ to meet mom and dad at the Phoenix NASCAR race. It was my first race other than Vegas. We stayed in the motor home. While we were there they had a free concert and I had front row to Julie Roberts. It was a lot of fun. That is the race that Jeff Gordon won and tied Dale Sr’s winning record and there was the big stick because he ran around the track with a flag with #3 on it.

In May I got 2 new roommates. Jodie and Thomas. Things with Thomas didn’t really work. But I have become best friends with Jodie. You will read a lot more about her later on. I saw Sawyer Brown and Bucky Covington in May as well. I also go to meet all of them and I started to get autographs of people on my banjo. I also started working at Massage Envy 3 days a week.

In June I went to a lot of Baseballs games. With Jodie and Thomas. St. George had a pro team and we don’t have much of a life so we went to there games. I also went to Both Tuacahn Shows My Fair Lady and Cinderella, which were amazing.

July was one of the best months. Jodie and I drove to a small town called Pinetop AZ to see some of my friends The Ranchhands. We stayed in a little town called Show Low. We saw them play for 2 nights. We had so much fun we plan on doing it again this year. I also got to see SheDaisy in July. At the end of the month I drove to Jackson Hole to see The Ranchhands again. They played in Moose Wyoming. I picked up moms purple car in Preston and I got to have moms car for 4 days. I had sooo much fun. I got to spend a lot of time with my dad that week because mom was in Idaho. I also found out In July that I have a lot of back issues from budging disc’s to cracked vertebra’s

August was just a good ol boring month I had to work a lot. Jodie and I also got a new kitten named Gidgett. She was so tinny and full of love and loves to claw and bite me. I had my first Epidural hoping it would help with back pain which didn’t help any

September was a busy month full of a lot of fun and excitement. I saw 3 concerts and met 5 artists. September 8th I saw Jack Ingram and Steve Holy and had back stage passes thanks to Marty and LaRae at KONY, then 3 days later I saw Lee Brice and Gary Allan, I went to the radio station the day after Lee and Gary to give Marty and LaRae some cookies to thank them for the concerts and while I was there Lee Brice came into the station and I got to meet him. He is soo sweet and adorable. Then on the 29th I got to see The Belamy Brothers and I once again got backstage passes. September was also mom and dads 40th wedding anniversary and they went on an Eastern Caribbean cruise. I got to baby-sit moms dog SASSY for 3 weeks. I also had my 2nd Epidural which again didn’t help

In October I got to go to Ogden to see Hayden Amy’s boy get baptized and I took Sassy back to Mom and Dad. When I came home I got to drive moms purple car back down here to St. George because mom had some of the grandkids and wasn’t thinking when she took them home of how they would get there. So the next morning mom came down and then on the 16th I had another back dr. appointment. I had 6 nerves in my back cauterized and that seems to have helped a little.

November was pretty fun. I got to go home for thanksgiving. October was a crazy month at work. I only had 5 days off the entire month so I decided I would take my vacation days that needed to be used soon so I got to go home for 6 days. Mom and dad moved to the St. George area after thanksgiving. LaRae I also got to see The Oak Ridge Boys. For me it was my 10th time seeing them. Once again Marty from KONY was awesome and gave us backstage passes and I was able to get Joe’s autograph on my banjo.

December came and went so fast. At the Oaks concert Marty gave me 2 ~ 2 packs of tickets for Travis Tritt and a 2 night stay in Mesquite. On December 1st Jodie and I went to the concert and stayed at the Oasis. Mom was in Preston so Jodie and I went bowling with dad while we were there. It was a lot of fun. I had to work on Christmas until 11am so when I got off I drove to Mesquite and spent 2 days there with mom and dad. Friday after Christmas Kip, Monique, Amy, Blair, Hannah, Hayden and Sydney came to Mesquite to spend time with mom and dad so it was nice to see everyone and once again we went bowling. It was the first time I have ever seen mom or dad bowl.

So… that was 2007 in a nutshell. I hope everyone had an amazing 2007 and hope 2008 can be even better…
